The Mission That Never Changes
Dear JBU Friend,
Before there was a magazine, before there was a website, before thousands of women across the world opened their phones to find hope in God’s Word—there was a woman who simply said yes to Jesus.
Jill Briscoe believed something deeply:
When God sends you, you go.
And when He gives you something to share—you give it.
She went into coffee bars, clubs, and gathering places others avoided. She prayed bold prayers. She trusted God with obedience even when she felt unequipped or scared. And when God placed women on her heart, she followed again.
That same heartbeat still fuels Just Between Us today.
The format has changed. The mission has not.
Every article, every devotional, every story is still rooted in that same calling:
To use every possible means to share the hope of Christ.
Because of you, women today across cities, states, and 214+ countries are being encouraged in lonely seasons, strengthened in weary places, and reminded that God is faithful.
As we step into this year-end season, we are remembering where this ministry began, and asking God to multiply where He is leading us next.
This month, we are trusting Him for $75,000 to carry this mission forward into the coming year.
Would you prayerfully consider giving today—so that Jill’s “yes” continues to echo into the lives of women around the world?
With gratitude,
The JBU Team
As we begin this year-end season, we invite you to pray with us:
For faithful obedience, like Jill modeled—from the first “yes” to every step that followed. Pray that we would continue to go where God sends and give what He provides.
For hearts to be softened—that every woman who encounters JBU through an article, devotional, or story would be drawn closer to Christ and rooted more deeply in His Word.
For wisdom and discernment for our leadership and team as we steward this ministry into the next year with faith, clarity, and humility.
For divine appointments, that God would place Just Between Us into the hands and hearts of women who are searching for hope, truth, and belonging.
For provision—that God would supply every financial need for this season and beyond, allowing the Gospel to continue moving forward without hindrance.
For our donors and prayer partners, that each one would be encouraged, strengthened, and reminded that their partnership is bearing eternal fruit.
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” — Matthew 9:37–38
