Jesus Knew How to Celebrate

Jesus knew how to have a party. He loved weddings, dinner parties, and festivals like Passover. We read about Him singing, eating, and enjoying His friends. We also find Jesus at times broken-hearted, teaching for extended periods of time, or in deep concentration in prayer, but almost equally He is seen celebrating life.
His first miracle happened at a wedding in Cana in John 2:1-12 where He turned water into wine to preserve the celebration. Jesus cared about people’s joy. He understood the importance of gathering, feasting, singing, and remembering God’s goodness together.
