Church hurt is one of the hardest wounds to bear. When we gather with believers, we expect encouragement, love, and truth—yet sometimes we encounter betrayal, conflict, or disappointment. These wounds can leave us feeling disillusioned, isolated, and unsure of where we belong.

If you’ve ever been hurt by the church, know this: God sees your pain, and He cares deeply for you. Though people may fail us, He never does. He is near to the brokenhearted, and He promises healing and restoration for those who turn to Him.

This week, we’re exploring what it means to process church hurt in a way that leads to healing, not bitterness. In today’s issue, we’ll talk about adjusting our expectations of the church, trusting God through our pain, and finding a path forward—whether that means staying or seeking a new faith community. Most importantly, we’ll be reminded that our faith is in Jesus, not in people.
