In this week’s Just Between Us magazine, A Mother’s Legacy, we looked at the many seasons of motherhood and the quiet influence women of faith carry—whether you're raising kids, letting them go, or nurturing others in your life. What Are You Passing On?
Leaving a legacy isn’t about doing everything perfectly—it’s about being faithful with what God has given you. Take a moment to reflect on these questions:
1. What are you nurturing in the lives of others?
Think of the people you influence regularly—your children, grandchildren, spiritual daughters, friends. What values are you modeling? What seeds are you planting?
“The righteous lead blameless lives; blessed are their children after them.” — Proverbs 20:7
2. What shaped you?
Who poured into your life? Who showed you what faith looked like? Take a moment to thank God for them—and maybe even reach out to let them know.
“Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.” — Hebrews 13:7
3. What do you want to be remembered for?
Not in terms of achievements, but in who you are becoming. What do you want your life to say about Jesus?
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16
