God’s timing can feel painfully slow. In Isaiah 9:2, 700 years before Jesus’ arrival on the earth, this declaration was made to the Israelites, “The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine.”

For many, the ache of waiting and longing can feel heavy, especially in the Christmas season. How do we hold onto hope, trusting that He holds it safe, even through long, dark winters? Today’s message offers gentle guidance and a heartfelt prayer for resting in God’s promises.
