By now, you may be sensing that the “new thing” God is doing isn’t just something around you—but something within you. Today’s reflection invites us into a brave and beautiful place: saying yes to God’s call, even when we feel unsure, unqualified, or stretched beyond our comfort.
So often, God’s invitations don’t arrive wrapped in clarity or confidence. They come quietly… persistently… sometimes even inconveniently. And our first response is often hesitation: Surely, Lord, You have the wrong person.
Rachel Risner’s story reminds us of a powerful truth: God has never depended on our competence—only our willingness. When we place our small “yes” in His hands, He delights in doing far more than we could ever imagine.
