Day 2 | Growing in the Word
How to Study the Bible.
Dear Friends,
Welcome to Day 2 of Growing in the Word. Yesterday, we began by talking about practical tips to make Bible reading more consistent and life-giving. Today, we take the next step—learning how to study Scripture for ourselves.
Dwight Hill introduces us to the inductive method of Bible study, a simple but powerful approach that moves us beyond “milk” and into the “solid food” of God’s Word (Heb. 5:13–14). By observing, interpreting, and applying Scripture, we not only learn about God—we begin to be transformed by Him.
As you read through the seven steps outlined today, remember: studying the Bible isn’t about checking boxes or mastering information. It’s about drawing nearer to the Author Himself.
