What a timely reminder of the power of prayer! In these uncertain times, it’s so encouraging to know that we can join together, lifting up our leaders, our communities, and the world. We are reminded that prayer is not just a passive act but a powerful way to seek God’s will and invite His kingdom here on earth. As we pray for those in authority and those hurting around us, we want to continually align our hearts with God's will and seek ways to bring His peace and hope to others.
We come before You, hearts humbled and hands lifted, asking for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Lord, we see so much need in our world—pain, division, and uncertainty—and we ask for Your presence to break through. Bring Your peace where there is conflict, Your hope where there is despair, and Your healing where there is brokenness.
We lift up our leaders—those in government, our pastors, and missionaries around the world. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and a heart that seeks Your will above all else. May they lead with integrity and justice, always looking to You for guidance in these difficult times.
Father, we pray for our communities, for the lonely, the grieving, the unemployed, and those who feel lost. Surround them with Your love and comfort. Equip us to be Your hands and feet, to reach out, to pray, and to encourage those who need to see Your light in the darkness.
Thank You for the privilege of interceding on behalf of others. Help us to align our lives with Your will, not just in our words, but in our actions. Remind us, as Jill Briscoe said, that "we can go anywhere on our knees." May we continue to lift up our world to You, knowing that You are sovereign, and Your kingdom is at work even now.
I truly appreciate the prayers that have been written at the end of each prayer journey day. They help me to know how to pray when I don't always know what to pray and how to say it. Thank you so much for this prayer journey. I do it every night before bed and it calms me and shows me that God's kingdom IS on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! We are encouraged hear that the prayers have been helpful for you. It’s completely normal to feel unsure about what to pray sometimes, so we’re glad you’re finding comfort and guidance in this journey. It’s wonderful that you take the time every night before bed to connect with God and feel that sense of peace. Remember, God sees your heart, and that’s what matters most. Wishing you continued joy and calm as you explore His kingdom in your life! Keep shining!
In what ways can I actively allign myself with God's will in my life?
1. PRAY for that spiritual alignment to happen.
2. READ His Word for instructions.
3. DO what Christ would do---ACT on behalf of Jesus.
4. COMMUNE with Christian folks especially those with experience in God-like matters.
